Over the last couple of months, the news around homelessness, addiction, mental health, domestic violence and the ongoing concerns for our refugee community is really depressing. It's something we should all address personally.

It's June already and winter has arrived. For many of us, this means adding a coat and turning on our heaters, but for others, it has tremendous challenges.

A very big thank you. We are extremely grateful to everyone who supported Cana over the Christmas period. Our residents and community enjoyed the gifts, the meals and the time everyone spent together.

New directions visited Cana Farm and spoke to Cana CEO Julie Sneddon and community members about the social enterprise aims, the work they do, and the story behind the Farm.

So many people have supported our community in different ways and every person’s contribution has helped create a positive, loving and safe community.
