Discover social justice in action!

Experience a day of learning and growth

Cana Farm is a unique community where diverse groups come together to support and uplift one another. We invite school groups from Primary through Year 12 to join us for an immersive day that blends education with hands-on experience, all while witnessing the power of collaboration for the betterment of everyone.

What your day will look like:

  • Welcome & intro to Cana Farm: Learn about our mission and the lives we touch through community and engagement.

  • Morning tea: Enjoy a relaxing break with a morning snack.

  • Farm walkaround: Explore the farm and meet our animal community.

  • Hands-on work in the veg garden: Get your hands dirty and learn about farming.

  • Lunch provided: Savour a meal prepared by our community including some fresh ingredients from our farm.

  • Group discussion: Reflect on your experiences and discuss the impact of social justice and community support with your peers.

Plan your visit

Our farm is open Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Our standard program runs from 9:30am to 2:30pm, but we’re flexible and can adjust the timing to fit your school’s schedule. Let us know what works best for you, and we’ll make it happen!

Support our mission

Cana Farm is a not-for-profit initiative, heavily subsidised by Cana Communities. We charge a modest fee per student (teachers and supervisors are free) to help us continue our work in bringing people together for positive change.
