Emergency Overnight Shelter

Church Shelters for the Homeless

Our church shelters offer free emergency overnight shelter for people who are homeless. Cana Church Shelters open from 8.30pm to 8am the following morning. Our present shelters are:

Garden Shelter, Waterloo, at the Uniting Church, Wednesday night.
Christ Church St Laurence Shelter, near Central Station, Saturday night.

About Us

Our focus is on people who are most in need, who are suffering from loneliness, mental illness, addictions, homelessness and other factors which alienate them within society. Those with the fewest options and who are most alienated are our special care.
