There are roles for volunteers and generally a role can be found to suit your availability. Some volunteers donate their time every few months, whilst others volunteer more often.

Is there any risk involved in volunteering?

Answer:

We always make sure new people are on with experienced volunteers. Whilst there is always risk involved when dealing with people we minimise any possibliy of any incident occuring by providing a framework of well-established guidelines, procedures and support structures, including a comprehendsive new volunteers information pack. Theresa house is a safe space and generally has a calm atmosphere and Cana Communities do everything possible to ensure volunteers do not feel at risk.
