Teresa House (Redfern)

Located in the Sydney suburb of Redfern, Teresa House provides free overnight and safe shelter, especially for mentally ill and addicted women and men, couples and transgender people who are at risk or with nowhere to go.

Homeless individuals or couples wishing to stay at Teresa House should contact the Homeless Persons Information Centre on 1800 234 566 between 9am and 10pm to arrange a booking.

Teresa House is entirely staffed by volunteers.

We are currently looking for volunteers for overnight shifts. This involves staying at the house and providing a safe and welcoming environment for our guests. If you are interested in Volunteering please use the volunteer form to let us know how you would like to help.
